ADS FAQ

Q1. Some buttons or fields are missing or not displayed on the screen

A1. Verify that your ADS user session has not expired by reloading the ADS windows in your browser. Resize the ADS window or verify that the zoom level of the browser window is set to 100%.

Q2: The device is not reporting to ADS

A2: Verify the following:

  • The device is integrated with EIV.
  • EIV monitoring is enabled on the device.
  • The Device Definition ID configured in the device matches a corresponding device profile in ADS.
  • You view the correct ADS board (if you have access to multiple boards).
  • The device is powered on.
  • The device has connectivity to ADS.
  • Some event in the device triggers EIV to send alerts or data to ADS (e.g. security attack, abnormal behavior, monitored trace or configured statistics).
