Linux Firmware Requirements

The general requirements for installing EIV on a Linux system are:

1. Linux Kernel >= 2.6
2. CPU Architecture: ARM, ARM64, x86_64
3. Available disk space: 5MB
4. RAM usage: ~1-5MB
5. Open egress network access: TCP:5001

These requirements define the minimum specification of a Linux system in order to support EIV. Certain Linux distributions, versions, configurations and/or builds may not be supported. Please inquire with Sternum to verify if your Linux system can support EIV.
